Upper level ridging will promote warming temperatures through mid-week. After a dry day today, low-end chances for precipitation re-enter the forecast Tuesday across SW MT, spreading northward each of Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. A front brings a brief cool down late week before another ridge builds in and warms temperatures again this weekend.
It is going to get a bit warm over the next few days over portions of North Central MT. Afternoon highs of 95 to 100 degrees will be common. Thus a heat advisory has been issued for portions of North Central MT. Have a plan to seek cooler areas during peak heating.
