Inclement Pattern Continues Over The Western U.S.; Significant Winter Storm Possible Over The Central And Eastern U.S.

A series of storm systems will bring heavy rainfall and burn scar flash flooding to portions of California. Heavy mountain snow and strong winds will also lead to dangerous travel conditions. Over the central and eastern U.S., a developing storm system could bring the potential for heavy snow, ice, and hazardous travel from the Plains to the interior Northeast and New England Friday to Sunday.
