...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Mississippi...
Biloxi River Near Lyman affecting Harrison County.
For the Biloxi River...including Lyman...Minor flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Biloxi River near Lyman.
* WHEN...Until Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Major flooding will occur in Retreat and
Riverland Village Subdivisions at the 16 foot stage. Homes on lower
Fisherman Trail will remain flooded and lower River Road will be
impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 6:45 PM CDT Sunday was 15.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 4.5 feet Friday
evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.1
feet on 12/19/1995.

For the Wolf River...including Gulfport...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wolf River above Gulfport.
* WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Bells Ferry Road will be closed within a
mile of the bridge as the road will be covered by swift moving
river current.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 6:45 PM CDT Sunday was 9.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late Tuesday
morning to 4.6 feet Wednesday evening.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.5
feet on 03/17/1990.
