S of Ocracoke Inlet NC to Cape Lookout NC out to 20 NM...
* Until 800 PM EDT.
* At 703 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located near Ar255, or 8 nm east of Drum Inlet,
moving south at 20 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

waterspouts were located along a line extending from The Vicinity
Of Cedar Island to near The Mouth Of The Neuse River, moving south
at 20 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
