* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce
  visibility to 1/4 NM or less. For the Small Craft Advisory,
  west winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and seas 6 to 9
  feet. For the Gale Watch, west winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up
  to 40 kt and seas 7 to 9 feet possible.

* WHERE...Fire Island Inlet NY to Montauk Point NY out 20 nm.

* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 8 PM EST this
  evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM EST Friday.
  For the Gale Watch, from Friday morning through Friday
  afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low
  visibility will make navigation difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog

your radar and compass.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to, Interstate 5, as well as California State Routes 99,
  33, 41, 43, 46, 59, 152, 165, 168, 180, and 198.
