* WHAT...Visibility less than 1/4 of a mile mile in dense fog.

* WHERE...El Paso.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM MST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility and icy roadways will make driving
  conditions hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Several weather stations early this morning
  in El Paso county were reporting visibility of 1/4 of a mile. Web
  cams were also showing dense fog in several locations throughout
  El Paso county.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, areas of dense fog will
  result in visibility under 1 NM at times. For the Small Craft
  Advisory, north winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and
  rough bay waters expected.

* WHERE...Matagorda Bay and Coastal waters from Freeport to
  Matagorda Ship Channel TX out 20 NM.

* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 6 AM CST early this
  morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 2 PM this
  afternoon to midnight CST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low
  visibility will make navigation difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.

  visibility to one mile or less. For the Small Craft Advisory,
  north winds around 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots and seas
  5 to 7 feet expected.

* WHERE...Baffin Bay and Upper Laguna Madre, Corpus Christi and
  Nueces Bays, Copano, Aransas, and Redfish Bays, San Antonio,
  Mesquite, and Espiritu Santo Bays, Coastal waters from Baffin
  Bay to Port Aransas out 20 NM and Coastal waters from Port
  Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel out 20 NM.

* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 6 AM CST Thursday.
  For the Small Craft Advisory, from 2 PM Thursday to midnight
  CST Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong to very strong winds and/or increased seas
  will result in hazardous marine conditions especially for
  inexperienced mariners with smaller vessels. Low visibility
  will make navigation difficult.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM AKST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Visibility one-quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE...Anchorage, with the worst conditions in the Anchorage Bowl.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Fog has been observed across Anchorage with
  sudden visibility reductions, especially towards northern and
  eastern portions of Anchorage bowl. With temperatures hovering
  around freezing, any moisture on roads and surfaces could
  refreeze. Reductions in visibility along with slick surfaces could
  make travel difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced
to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your
headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
