Severe Thunderstorms Across Southeast Texas; Long Duration Winter Storm for the Pacific Northwest

A storm system moving east across southeast Texas today will set the stage for scattered strong to severe thunderstorms. The main hazards will be tornadoes, gusty winds and hail. A series of fronts moving across the Northwestern quadrant of the U.S will lead to a long duration winter storm beginning today.
