Gusty southwest winds will shift to the northwest today with the passage of a cold front, with peak wind gusts of 25 to 40 mph. Small chances of light snow can be expected across northeast portions of our region Thursday night, especially along and north of Interstate 64. Very cold conditions will arrive for the weekend, with Saturday night lows in the upper single digits and teens, and wind chills from around zero to around 10 degrees.
