Skies will clear as a storm system exits the Quad State tonight, resulting in temperatures falling into the upper 20s to lower 30s over much of southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. Widespread frost will also be possible.
A potent upper-level storm system will bring rain to the Quad State mainly this afternoon and evening. As much as a third of an inch is expected over west Kentucky, with lesser amounts farther north and west.
