This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

POOR VISIBILITY.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...After Midnight.

DISCUSSION...
Slight to low end chances for showers and thunderstorms will
continue overnight ahead of a low pressure system approaching from
the west. Severe weather is not expected tonight.

Light winds and low level moisture in place across the region
will aid in the development of patchy areas of fog across eastern
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas overnight into Friday morning.
This reduced visibility could impact parts of the region during
the morning commute. Visibility conditions should improve mid
morning Friday.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dense Fog Potential.
SATURDAY...No Hazards.
SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorm chances will persist Friday, with a decreasing trend
from west to east Friday night as the upper level storm system
moves east of the area. The stronger storms Friday afternoon and
evening could produce marginally severe hail and wind, especially
across southeast Oklahoma into west-central Arkansas.

Above normal temperatures return for the weekend. Both Sunday
night and Monday night, the southern end of expected thunderstorm
complexes to the north of the Kansas and Missouri borders may
affect parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas as well.
A cold front Tuesday should increase the shower and thunderstorm
chances areawide. Severe weather is looking more likely with the
Tuesday storms, although details are uncertain at this time.
