AccuWeather Apps general FREE Global/national-scale Accuweather offers free apps for a variety of devices that give you access to daily forecasts, radar images, and more.  
AlertFM   general FREE / $ Global/national-scale Users can purchase FM receiver devices or receive alerts via text, email, or app. Their alert and messaging system allows emergency management officials to create and send alerts to recipients based on geographic or organizational groupings. Alerts can include NWS weather watches and warnings, evacuation instructions, homeland security notices, Amber Alerts, or school closings.  
American Red Cross Mobile Apps general FREE Global/national-scale The American Red Cross has mobile apps for general severe weather, as well as specific options for tornado, hurricane, earthquake, and flood.  
BloomSky   general FREE / $ Global/national-scale BloomSky users can purchase weather cameras to record time lapses from their location.  With a free app or on their browser webpage, anyone can view these timelapses and recorded data for free.  
CodeRED Mobile Alert App   general $ Global/national-scale Free app with customizable alert options based on location.  
DialMyCalls.com   general $ Global/national-scale Organizations can send thousands of alerts per second in order to quickly reach all recipients in the case of emergency or severe weather.

Operating in over 90 countries, Earth Networks provides customers with services such as weather monitoring, alerting and visualization, real-time lightning detection, and severe weather analytics. FEMA Mobile App general FREE Global/national-scale FEMA's mobile app allows you to receive NWS alerts, as well as view information on how to contact FEMA, find open shelters, and upload photos to help first responders.   
FirstCall Alerts App   general $ Global/national-scale Emergency managers and directors can send alerts and updates to their personnel and staff via a wide variety of devices and methods.  General emergency alerts can be sent as well as NWS alerts.  Technology is also available to reach the hearing impaired.  
In-telligent   general $ Global/national-scale The In-telligent app receives NWS alerts with an audible tone, and is equipped with LightningAware to notify the user of lightning in the area.  Other notifications available with the alert include those for public health, local emergency, missing children, and the ability for personal networks to connect.   
MeteoGroup AlertsPro general FREE Global/national-scale AlertsPro is an app developed by MeteoGroup that sends users alerts in advance of severe weather. Coverage is available through most of Europe and the United States.  Also included is access to radar and satellite images.  
MyWARN   general $ Global/national-scale This app offers severe weather watches and warnings based on your location as issued by the NWS.  
OnSolve MIR3 general $ Global/national-scale OnSolve's MIR3 option is focused on business alerting and notification, serving many of the world's largest brands and companies.  Federal agencies also use this solution to maintain business continuity during critical events and natural disasters.  
OnSolve Send Word Now general $ Global/national-scale OnSolve's Send Word Now platform is another option for communication and collaboration for businesses and government agencies. Two-way communication is possible between the company and individuals receiving the alerts.  
OnSolve CodeRED general $ Global/national-scale OnSolve's CodeRED is a way by which government agencies can easily deliver geo-targeted, time-sensitive information and alerts to customers. Alerts include severe weather alerts from the NWS. CodeRED is fully integrated with the Integrated Public Alerts & Warning System (IPAWS) from FEMA.    
Ping4alerts!   general FREE Global/national-scale Users can use this free app to begin receiving severe weather alerts.  It can also be used by public safety agencies to send detailed emergency alerts to people within a specific location.  
Storm Shield Severe Weather App   general FREE Global/national-scale The Storm Shield app sends users severe weather alerts based on specific location. Voice alerts, similar to a NOAA weather radio, com evia push notifications. Also accessible are radar maps, current conditions, and hourly and daily forecasts.  
StormWatch+ StormWatch+ App general $ Global/national-scale This app contains nationwide radar, NWS forecasts, and severe weather alerts.   
Syneren Emergency Management System for Disaster Recovery   general $ Global/national-scale Rescue centers can use ITUS, a web-based platform, to streamline communications and decision making.  ITUS combines services such as GPS, NWS weather alerts, FEMA shelter locations, and more into one location to be used more efficiently.   
The Weather Channel Notifications general FREE Global/national-scale The Weather Channel provides forecasts, radar, and severe weather alerts on their desktop site.  Users can also subscribe to browser push notifications and email subscriptions of weather alerts.  Similar features are available with their mobile app.  
Weather Decisions Technology WeatherOps general $ Global/national-scale WeatherOps helps business and enterprise level organizations to make critical decisions to protect assets.  Alerts are customizable and can be seen by as many people in the company as desired.  With this service, a meteorologist is always available for assistance.  
Weather Decisions Technology Weather Radio general $ Global/national-scale This app provides severe weather alerts, including specific lightning alerts.  It is also user friendly for the blind, equipped with voiceover technology.

Weather Underground   general FREE Global/national-scale Wunderground provides, forecasts, radar, and severe weather alerts on their desktop site, as well as their app.  A second app, WunderStation, allows users to connect to their personal weather stations. Users can subscribe to severe weather alerts via SMS or email, and also stream NOAA Weather Radio via a desktop browser.    
Weather USA   general FREE Global/national-scale Weather USA offers current weather observations, forecasts, and severe weather alerts via their desktop browser and app.  
Weather USA Business Services general $ Global/national-scale Severe weather alerts are available to notify those associated with your business.  Also available are decision support services, event forecasts, and Weather API.

Products available through a subscription include current data, forecasts, model data, radar and satellite images, as well as information on lightning, aviation weather, severe threats, and global weather. Their corresponding RadarLab HD+ product offers severe weather text alerts and sound alarms in the case of severe weather threats.

Alabama SAF-T-Net Mobile Alerts general FREE Regional/Local-scale Alabama residents can sign up for severe weather notifications in multiple formats. Alabama
MemphisWeather.net MemphisWeather.net App general $ Regional/Local-scale This app contains the MWN StormView Radar, human-generated MWN forecast, severe weather information, and access to multiple social media feeds.  It can be upgraded to having StormWatch+ information. Memphis and Mid-South
ReadyNH.gov   general FREE Regional/Local-scale New Hampshire residents can receive severe weather alerts via multiple methods of transmission.  Other customizable alerts include emergency, community, and missing person notifications.  New Hampshire
