The tornado that hit Henry County on January 2, 2006 was rated F1 on the Fujita intensity scale. The areas affected are shown on the maps below. Examples of the damage that occurred is shown in the images below the maps. (A field survey was conducted by representatives of the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Peachtree City, Georgia.)
