Come Visit NWS Brownsville at the Air Fiesta!
Weekend of Fun Planned March 13th and 14th

The National Weather Service office in Brownsville will be hosting a display during the 2010 Air Fiesta, sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force, Rio Grande Valley Wing. There are plenty of activities, and many things to see for kids of all ages at this year’s Air Fiesta. Aerobatics, a re–enactment of Pearl Harbor, and Fighter Fly–overs are just a part of the sights and sounds. All are invited to stop by our booth, located in or near the RGV Commemorative Air Force Hangar located at 955 S. Minnesota Avenue, just south of the main terminal at the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport (click here for directions). Visit with local meteorologists, learn about aviation and tropical weather, and check out a weather balloon. Interactive displays, including our famous tornado chamber, will be available for all to enjoy and experience. Come on out and have fun with us!
