Series of Storms to Impact the West Coast

Powerful Pacific storms will keep conditions wet and windy for much of the West, especially, from northern California to western Washington. Heavy rains may produce flooding early to mid week. Heavy snow will make travel difficult from the Cascades to the northern Rockies. The Data Acquisition Program is vital to the ability of NWS Brownsville to perform its basic public safety mission. The work of the program is a critical factor to the correct and rapid assessment of current and impending, perhaps very severe, weather conditions with a potential for destruction of life and property.
