Fire Weather Concerns for the Plains; Thunderstorms in the Southeast; Record Warmth Spreads in the Southwest

Elevated to locally critical conditions will persist across the High Plains. Showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected over parts of the Southeast and Florida Peninsula.
