Tenney T5TS Thermal Shock Chamber

The Tenney T5TS thermal shock chamber is a two compartment enclosure that is used to test equipment during rapid changes in temperature. The system has two compartments stacked on top of each other. The upper compartment is heated – typically to 60 °C or above. The lower compartment is refrigerated – typically to -25 °C or lower. Inside the chamber is a specimen transport basket that holds the equipment that is being tested. This basket can automatically be shuttled between the upper and lower compartments, subjecting the equipment to large changes in temperature.  The temperature range of the upper compartment can be set between ambient and 177 °C. The lower compartment can be set between -73 and +121 °C.
