An approaching upper level storm system will drive a cold front across the region overnight. We will see increasing clouds and some showers overnight, including some light snow in spots. But the big impact looks to be an increase in winds, especially as the front moves past. Wind speeds of 25 to 35 mph will be common as temperatures begin to drop behind the front.
Cooler air will move into the area, along with some strong winds. Clouds will be clearing out. Temperatures will run 5 to 8 degrees below average. Winds will be from the west at 20 to 35 mph.
