Heavy Mountain Snow across Portions of the Rockies and Intermountain West; Mainly Tranquil Weather for the East

A storm will move across the Intermountain West and Rockies through Tuesday. Heavy snow is forecast for the higher terrain with rain for lower elevations. Meanwhile, large area of high pressure for the East will keep the weather tranquil with moderating temperatures.
