Not as Warm as Yesterday / Snow Friday Afternoon and Evening

A cold front passing through the area today will cause today to be cooler than yesterday. Highs will only be in the mid 30s. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with northeast winds under 10 mph. A weakening storm system is expected to bring between 1 and 2 inches of snow to this area from mid afternoon Friday into the mid evening. This is expected to slow the evening commute Friday. Overview

A surface low tracked across the southern 1/3 of Lower Michigan. This resulted in 4 to 6 inches of snow north of I-96 AND 1 to 2 inches south of I-96.
