Powerful Alaska Storm; Wintry Mix for Plains and Lower Mississippi Valley; East Coast Winter Storm

Alaska will continue to be affected by a strong storm moving through the Bering Sea with heavy precipitation and strong winds. Meanwhile from the Pacific Northwest into the Southern Plains, a wintry mix will result in hazardous traveling conditions through today.
