Intense Heat, Flash Flooding, and Severe Thunderstorm Risks Persist

Dangerous heat will continue across much of the central U.S. on Wednesday and then expand into the Northeast on Thursday. Meanwhile, severe thunderstorms and the risk of flash flooding will be centered from lower Michigan to the middle Mississippi Valley on Wednesday.
