Ben Kyger, Director, National Centers for Environmental Prediction Central Operations Kyger graduated from the California State Polytechnic University and started his career with Electronic Data Systems, eventually becoming an account executive supporting Bethlehem Steel. He went to work for i2 Technologies as a consulting director supporting one of their largest clients, Caterpillar Corporation. He became the deputy director of NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Prediction Central Operations in March 2006 and has served as the center’s Director since January 2008.
