Locally Heavy Rain and Flooding Possible; Lee in the Atlantic

Locally heavy rain, thunderstorms and flooding are possible the next few days in parts of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic and from portions of the Four Corners region into the drought stricken southern Plains. Lee remains a large and powerful hurricane several hundred miles south of Bermuda and will affect the East Coast with dangerous surf and life-threatening rip currents the rest of the week.
