Tornadoes Impact Coastal Mississippi April 2ndA strong upper level disturbance brought a line of severe thunderstorms containing tornadoes and damaging straight line winds to Coastal Mississippi during the day on April 2nd. At this time, 2 tornadoes have been confirmed from this event. Both of these tornadoes have been determined to be EF0 strength after NWS storm surveys were conducted.
