The Dissemination Systems Branch (DSB) conceives, designs, implements, and manages telecommunications systems required to disseminate meteorological and hydrological data, reports, information, and weather warnings to the public, public safety agencies, and the mass news media through governmental and public telecommunications systems. The DST represents NWS at international, national, state and local levels and coordinates NWS dissemination activities within NWS and other federal agencies.
