Fire Weather Concerns in Southern California and South Texas; Widespread Rain and Thunderstorms from the South to Northeast

Breezy offshore winds and very dry conditions will continue to promote elevated fire weather conditions across coastal Southern California through Wednesday morning. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast for much of south Texas Wednesday as gusty winds and low humidity persists.
