Extremely Critical Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Hurricane Rafael Approaching Gulf of Mexico

Strong Santa Ana winds will bring critical to extremely critical fire weather conditions to portions of California today into Friday. Rafael has strengthened into a hurricane and is expected to enter the Gulf of Mexico by Thursday. Tropical Storm Warnings have been issued for parts of the Florida Keys.
