Next CoP Webinar

The next CC CoP webinar focused on “Data Access in the Cloud” will be held Monday, February 22, 2021, at 2-4 pm ET. The goal of this session is to understand the efforts that different government and private sectors are doing in relation to coastal data in the cloud.

Panelists will include Jena Kent (NOAA/CO-OPS) talking about NOAA’s Big Data Program, Dan Morris (Microsoft) talking about Microsoft’s AI for Earth, Richard Signell (USGS) talking about a joint NOAA/USGS/Army Corp project working with model data, and Patrick Tripp (RPS Group) talking about a cloud sandbox project that allows models to be run directly in the cloud. The panel presentations will be followed by an open discussion.
