            TORNADO LIFTED AFTER CROSSING AL HWY 5. ALONG THE PATH,
            DOZENS OF HARD AND SOFTWOOD TREES WERE UPROOTED AND

            INTERSECTION OF COUNTY ROAD 8 AND COUNTY ROAD 3074. THE
            TORNADO MOVED OVER SMITH LAKE AND DAMAGED THE ROOFS OF
            SIX HOMES NEAR COVE ROAD SOUTH. ONE HOME HAD SEVERE ROOF
            DAMAGE. THOUSANDS OF TREES WERE ALSO DOWNED CAUSING
            DAMAGE TO AT LEAST A DOZEN MORE RESIDENCES. THE TORNDAO
            DISSIPATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF COUNTY ROAD 41 AND
            COUNTY ROAD 52 AT 6 AM CST. MAX ESTIMATED WINDS WERE 105
            MPH. PATH LENGTH WAS 10.26 MILES. MAXIMUM WIDTH WAS 1000
            YARDS.
