The following graphics are experimental and not an official forecast product. The graphics were created to display the average recurrence interval (ARI) for 1-hour and 3-hour RFC best-estimate rainfall as well as diagnostics for the MRMS radar-only rainfall estimate product. The plots were developed as a tool for assessing the severity of shorter duration rainfall in realtime as well as biases in radar-only products. A particular ARI value does not necessarily correlate with impacts at a given location.

Experimental products may not always update in a timely manner and may be discontinued at a future date. Experimental products may not always reflect accurate, quality controlled information and should be used with caution.
