Summary
====================================================================
2016 at Harrison was the warmest year since 2012, and by average
yearly temperature was the 8th warmest year on record, tying 1953,
1941, and 1934. Rainfall was below average for the first time in two
years.
Temperatures were warmer than average for just about the entire year.
The only significantly cooler periods were in May, August, and in
December. By departure from normal, October was warmest, and
May was coolest.
With the exception of March, July, and August, monthly rainfall was
below average all other months.
Snowfall was well below average through the year. Measurable snow fell
in January, February, and December. The heaviest snow fell in February.
This year saw the least amount of measurable snow in four years.
