Low Chance For Severe Thunderstorms Into Early Evening

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast into the early evening hours, as a cold front moves southeast across southern Wisconsin. It appears that the risk for severe weather is rather low, as any storms will have a tough time maintaining themselves. Weak upward motion with the front, and limited low level instability, are expected to keep any storm development rather isolated at best.
