Isolated severe thunderstorms and showers will bring a flash flood threat across the Southeast. Scattered severe wind gusts are expected across the northern Rockies into the Plains. The National Weather Service in Milwaukee, in partnership with City of Madison Emergency Management and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, are happy to announce a new outreach event that will take place in Milwaukee (Wed, Nov. 16th) and Madison (Thu, Nov 17th) during Winter Weather Awareness Week! The workshop will take place from 6:30pm and last until 8:30pm for both events and the intended audience is the general public to help raise awareness of Winter Weather Safety.
