Rain returns to Middle TN this evening through Sunday morning. Next round of precipitation arrives Monday night. Expect mostly rain, but there is a low chance for some snow showers north of I-40
Widespread light to moderate rain is expected across all of Middle Tennessee Monday night into Tuesday morning. Some light wintry mix will be possible across northwest portions of the area before a changeover to light snow for areas generally north of I-40 Tuesday morning. Light accumulation is possible, particularly for areas north and west of Nashville.

Middle Tennessee Weather History For November 30th...
On November 30, 2001...Heavy rainfall event spanning 2 days ends with
significant localized and river flooding across much of western
Middle Tennessee. Some stations report large precipitation totals
spanning the 2 days, including Clifton (8.44 inches), Dover (7.02
inches), Waverly (5.90 inches), Linden (5.77 inches), Lobelville
(5.35 inches), Pinewood (5.10 inches), and Centerville (5.06 inches).
The Stewart County Highway Department reports 14.6 inches of rainfall
in 24 hours, and 24 inches over ten days.
