Warming trend starting this afternoon as cloud cover and lingering showers begin to push eastward out of the area today. Slightly above normal temperatures Wednesday through this weekend can be expected, along with drier conditions through the much of the work week.
The National Weather Service will be having a Skywarn spotter training class in Brownwood on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Howard Payne University (Newman Hall). The class is free and open to the public. No registration is needed for the class. Come learn about the basics of severe weather and how to report severe weather to the NWS.
