Significant Weather Events for October 2024:
October 15-18 - Chilly Canadian High pressure settled in
across the eastern half of the country. This combined with
a very dry airmass allowed temperatures to fall into the 30s
across a good portion of the Midlands and Central Savannah
River Area. This also provided for the first frost of the
season, although scattered across the area.
