The average temperature at Augusta Regional Bush Field for November
2021 was 52.8 degrees or 2.8 below the monthly normal of 55.6
degrees.

.Columbia Rainfall...

Columbia Metro Airport received 0.28 inches of rainfall during
November, 2.48 inches below the monthly normal of 2.76 inches.

Nov. 8th - Cold Canadian high pressure settled across the Mid-Atlantic
and Southeast on the morning of the 8th. This produced widespread

Nov. 24th - Cold Canadian high pressure build into the region behind
a vigorous cold front. There were widespread temperatures in the lower
to middle 20s across much of the Midlands and Central Savannah River
Area.

Widespread freeze conditions were observed over the entire forecast
area last night, ending the 2021 growing season. The Frost/Freeze
products will no longer be issued until Spring of 2022 when a new
growing season begins.

The 3-Month Climate Outlook
...(December/January/February)...

The outlook calls for about a 50 to 60 percent chance of above normal
temperatures with a 33 to 40 percent chance of below normal
precipitation.

ENSO (EL NINO SOUTHERN OSCILLATION)...

...La Nina Advisory...La Nina conditions are present. Equatorial sea
surfaces temperatures are below average across the central and east-
central Pacific Ocean. The tropical Pacific atmosphere is consistent
with La Nina conditions. La Nina is likely to continue through the
Northern Hemisphere winter 2021-2022. There is a 90 percent chance of
this occurring. La Nina is expected to continue into Spring 2022.
There is a 50 percent chance of La Nina conditions during the period
of March through May.
