Snow Ending in the Northwest U.S., Santa Anas Arrive in Southern California; Hurricane Melissa to Impact Jamaica

Snow showers will taper off west to east today across the Cascades and northern Rockies behind a cold front. A significant warming trend with gusty offshore winds will begin today and last through late in the week over coastal southern California as the first Santa Ana wind event of the season develops.
