Lowell to Impact Hawaii; Heat Persists in the South-Central U.S.

Hurricane Lowell is forecast to pass west of Kauai`s coastal waters tonight. Impacts such as high surf and heavy rain could impact all of the islands. Sweltering heat remains across the South-Central Plains and Lower/Middle Mississippi Valley into this week with limited nighttime relief. CODE is Produced in Two Versions:

  1. National Weather Service Edition - This is the complete version of CODE. Distribution is limited to within the National Weather Service and other U.S. Government Agencies.
     
  2. Public Edition - This version of CODE is intended for public release. Certain proprietary software components have been removed to permit release outside the U.S. Government.

CODE Public Edition is free to public users. All the source code, documentation and patches can be downloaded free of charge. Please read CODE Disclaimer before you download CODE.

Note:  The latest public version of Build 24.0 CODE software can only be obtained by sending a request to michael.istok@noaa.gov with the phrase "Public CODE RPG" in the subject line and, in the body of your email, please provide your full name and optionally your business affiliation.
