Severe Thunderstorms; Excessive Rainfall; Dangerous Heat; Air Quality Concerns and the Tropics

Wildfire smoke will push into the Midwest, worsening air quality. A frontal system brings severe storms from the Northern Plains to the Mid‑Atlantic the next few days. Heavy Gulf Coast rain is possible as Tropical Depression Two has formed, while monsoonal storms persist in the Southwest with heavy rainfall.   1. National Weather Service Edition - This is the complete version of CODE. Distribution is limited to within the National Weather Service and other U.S. Government Agencies.
     
  2. Public Edition - This version of CODE is intended for public release. Certain proprietary software components have been removed to permit release outside the U.S. Government.

CODE Public Edition is free to public users. All the source code, documentation and patches can be downloaded free of charge. Please read CODE Disclaimer before you download CODE.

Note:  The latest public version of Build 24.0 CODE software can only be obtained by sending a request to michael.istok@noaa.gov with the phrase "Public CODE RPG" in the subject line and, in the body of your email, please provide your full name and optionally your business affiliation.
