Heavy Rain and Flooding Possible in the Southwest U.S, Ohio Valley, and Hawaii

Heavy rainfall is expected to continue through Thursday over New Mexico into far west Texas. Flash flooding and debris flows in wildfire burn areas will be possible. Overview

A cluster of thunderstorms produced a brief, weak tornado during the mid-afternoon hours of March 24, 2024, on the east side of Garden City, KS. The tornado produced low-end EF-1 damage primarily to residential homes and businesses.
