This places 2010 tied for 6th place for the number of tornadoes in Southeast Michigan for any year (records go back to 1950). These latest 2 tornadoes also pushes the state total to 25 which is the most tornadoes for Michigan since 2001 when there were 35 tornadoes across the state.
