NOAA Weather Radio Outage at Sugarloaf (WNG-547) Transmitter

The Sugarloaf NOAA Weather Radio transmitter site WNG547,
operating on a frequency of 162.450 Megahertz, is off the air.
Recent strong winds at the transmitter site caused severe damage
to the tower, likely causing an extended outage. This transmitter
serves the following counties in Maine; Androscoggin, Franklin,
Kennebec, Oxford, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Somerset, and Waldo.
