Storm Moving through the South; Pacific Storm to Impact the West this Weekend

A storm is expected to develop over the southern High Plains today and track to the Mid-Atlantic through Friday with showers and thunderstorms. On the northern edge, snow, ice, and/or a wintry mix is possible over the central Plains. Overview

A line of severe thunderstorms tracked through portions of far southwest Michigan, northern Indiana and northwest Ohio early in the morning on March 6. Wind gusts as high as 65-70 mph were reported which created damage to trees and homes in many locations. A weak and brief EF0 tornado was also confirmed 4 miles southwest of Royal Center, IN (Cass County).
