Severe Thunderstorms in the Central U.S.; Heavy to Excessive Rainfall in the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians

Severe thunderstorms producing damaging winds, hail, and a few tornadoes are expected through Tuesday across parts of the central Plains and lower to mid Missouri Valley. Overview

A warm front was located across portions of northern Indiana. This combined with an unstable atmosphere and high amounts of shear combined to produce multiple supercell thunderstorms. Several reports of tornadoes were received in Grant, Miami, Wabash and Fulton Counties.
