An F2 tornado struck downtown Columbia, Tennessee during the early morning of April 15, 1910 (around 4:40 a.m.). The tornado was on the ground for about a mile and only one known injury resulted. Historical photographs show damage to downtown buildings on South Main Street just south of the courthouse.
