Severe Thunderstorms Will Continue to Impact the Southeast Overnight

Strong to severe thunderstorms will continue this evening from eastern Texas into the lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys/southern Appalachians. The strongest storms could produce a few strong tornadoes (EF2+), damaging wind gusts, large hail, and locally heavy to excessive rainfall which may results in flash and urban flooding. Read More >

Overview

Here is a summary of all of the 2020 tornadoes in our area. There were 27 total across our four state region, with nearly half of them (12) occurring during the January 11th event. There were 3 EF-2's, including two which impacted the Henderson, KY and Newburgh, IN areas on March 28th. Below you will find a  map showing all of the tornado tracks for the year. The second tab (Statistics/Tables) has more information regarding the tornadoes in 2020.
