Thunderstorms and Heavy Rains Across Portions of the Central and Eastern US; Heat Expands to Portions of the East

Widespread showers and thunderstorms, some severe, may produce heavy downpours and flash flooding across much of the eastern and central U.S. Dangerous heat will continue in the Pacific Northwest and expand across portions of the East. Just find your closest station below and click the link.  Once you're there, click the tab on the right labeled "Climate Outlooks" to view a graphical depiction of the 8 to 14 Day Outlook from the Climate Prediction Center.  You'll also find outlooks for the next 6 to 10 days and up to one month on the same page.
