Heat Wave Expands to the East Coast; Flash Flooding Likely in the Central Plains into the Midwest; Severe Thunderstorms in the Northeast

Dangerous, prolonged heat is ongoing in the Mid-South to Mid-Mississippi Valley and heat expands into the Northeast for a brief period today. Widely scattered instances of flash flooding due to heavy rains are forecast from northeast Kansas to much of Indiana. National Weather Service Paducah KY Spring Severe Weather Safety Webinar

On Tuesday March 31st at 700 pm CDT, join us for a Severe Weather Safety Webinar, where you will learn all about the best ways to obtain the latest weather information as well as ways to keep you and your family safe from hazardous weather events. We'll be talking about tornadoes, lightning, severe thunderstorms, where to find the latest information and much more! 

Since this is a webinar, you can join us from any device from the comfort of your home. This presentation is expected to last an hour and a half. There will be time for questions as well. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.
