Severe Thunderstorms Will Continue to Impact the Southeast Overnight

Strong to severe thunderstorms will continue this evening from eastern Texas into the lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys/southern Appalachians. The strongest storms could produce a few strong tornadoes (EF2+), damaging wind gusts, large hail, and locally heavy to excessive rainfall which may results in flash and urban flooding. Read More >

The National Weather Service in Paducah Kentucky will continue to offer a way for you to bring a meteorologist into YOUR classroom - through virtual school talks. These virtual talks were very successful during the 2020-2021 school year, so we wanted to offer you this option again this year.

If you are interested in having one of our staff speak to your students virtually about weather, click here to read the instructions and fill out the request form. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible to schedule your class. Make sure to check your email (or spam folder) for a response.
