Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening , with a marginal threat for a severe storm or two along and north of I-20. The main hazards will be lightning, wind gusts to 60 mph, isolated large hail up to quarter size and locally heavy rainfall.

Above normal temperatures will continue through Monday. Slightly cooler temperatures expected beyond Monday. Rain chances increase today into Tuesday, with low rain chances lingering Wednesday through the end of the week.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rain will be possible, which may result in minor flooding of low-lying areas and roadways.

Slightly cooler temperatures are expected late next week into the following weekend but still remaining slightly above normal. Low rain chances will linger from mid to late week.
