ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...A WEAK TORNADO BRIEFLY TOUCHED DOWN 
BETWEEN PANTHER CREEK ALONG FARM ROAD 11 AND HIGHWAY 123 IN FAR
SOUTHWEST HICKORY COUNTY. THE TORNADO UPROOTED TREES AND DESTROYED
A BARN. TIN FROM THE BARN FOUND WEST OF THE BARN AND TREES FELLED
IN A ROTATING PATTERN LED THE NWS TO DETERMINE THE DAMAGE TO BE
ASSOCIATED WITH A TORNADO.

ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO TREES FARTHER EAST ALONG HIGHWAY J WEST OF
PITTSBURG MO WAS DETERMINED TO BE WIND DAMAGE.
