Blizzard Conditions Are Forecast Across Parts of the Northern Plains and Upper Great Lakes

Overview

An upper level disturbance pushed across the area and interacted with some elevated instability to produce some strong to severe storms with hail.  While most of the hail was pea to dime size, some of the stronger storms produced hail to the size of quarters up to golf ball size.
