Overview

Widespread showers and thunderstorms developed across the region Thursday, October 2, 2104 in advance of a strong cold front.  A few of the storms were strong to marginally severe producing localized wind damage and hail.  Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2  inches were common with locally higher amounts near 4  inches.
